A Box and its Lid – Part 2
Posted September 10th, 2009 by Daniel Doen SilberbergThis second part of Caryn Shudo Silberberg’s Zen art exhibit is another example of objective art. It portrays the relative, daily life in all it’s radiance. The relative, like the absolute is shown in it’s true ungraspable nature.

I enjoyed the textures of the fish and their arranged pattern. Then, the contrast of the man in his crisp, white Tux with the vibrant yellow chairs. His body language captures my curiosity. I notice myself wondering how he is feeling. Maybe he’s having a good day and he heard some good news? He has a look like, “anything is possible” and he’s looking outward toward the horizon.
The colors are also striking with the powerful red where the couple is embracing and kissing. I hear the words, ‘Here we are!’
Thanks for the mini-gallery. Here I am too.
